SPEAKER BIO:
Francis S. Fons (Frank) CBA® is currently a senior business architect consultant for STA Group, a Dillon Kane Company, at State Farm Insurance, leading a team of business architects engaged in customer sales and marketing transformation efforts. Frank has his PMP designation, MBA, Six Sigma Green Belt, Certified Business Architect, and BSEE, Computer Engineering. In addition, he has an Illinois Property and Casualty Insurance Agent License, and an Illinois Real Estate Broker License. He is currently pursuing PMI certification as an Agile Certified Practitioner, and ITIL certification. Frank has operated a consulting business, Frank Fons Inc., since January, 2010. It focuses efforts in business architecture, project management, financial analysis, systematic and consultative sales, relationship management, training, and business reorganization.Frank has over 25 years of business experience, primarily in the financial services, software, and health care industries. He has acted in sales and consulting capacities, directing change management for customers who were acquired, and process changes for system conversions. He also participated in several new product and service pilot programs, managing the relationships with participating customers to deliver mutual benefits. His current role involves business architecture and project management efforts at State Farm to engage its customers in a consistent, personalized manner, regardless of communication channel. The goal is to provide relevant messaging, taking advantage of available collaborative technologies, including mobile devices. Other significant recent prior project management work included work at several banks which have been acquired or acquired other institutions, and the redesign and implementation of CRM for a credit insurance agency to streamline cross-selling, ordering, and invoicing for policies and credit information and collection services offered by the agency.While not occupied in work, Frank enjoys participating in a book club, traveling, tennis, cooking, and volunteering.
