Thank you ALFISIG!

Bonnie DeBruler
Kempke will be speaking about “Requirements Analysis “. 
Ms. DeBruler Kempke is a Consultant with CTS, Inc., considering a career transition into project management.  Bonnie has a 25+ year career as a software engineer primarily in the defense industry.  Many of the projects that she has worked on have transitioned from military-proprietary technologies into everyday life.  You’ll find yourself using technologies she has helped to develop, test, or update in your car, in public transportation, home and office.

Bonnie’s varied experience as a senior software engineer in the defense industry has included the following positions:

Senior Systems and Network Administrator

Senior Software Systems Engineer

Senior Software Applications Engineer

Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Business Development Technical Author

Software Systems Engineering Team Lead

In each of these positions, Bonnie has been deeply involved in requirements elicitation, development, definition and documentation.

Bonnie has been actively involved in leadership, student mentoring and community service.  She has served her community in fund raising for the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association.  She helped to found the Krewe of Chameleons, a non-profit service organization, in Northwest Florida, that participates in a variety of community service functions.

Bonnie has been involved in the Institute of Electrical Electronic Engineers (IEEE) Women in Engineering (WIE), the American Society for Quality (ASQ), American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) and Toastmasters International (TI).  She has been a Professional Coach and is a frequent public speaker.

When not working, Bonnie enjoys fishing and golf with her husband, crocheting, jewelry making, cooking and service to her community.  She lives in Birmingham, Alabama, and may be reached at for comments or questions.
